As an administrator, I created a dummy user, then logged off and logged back on again as the dummy user. I then tried changing my (dummy user) password. When I go to "Manage Password" and click "Change", I get a dialog box titled "Confirm Password Change" with a message "Please confirm which user you are changing the password for" followed by a list of users to choose from. The dummy user name is not on the list. Even if the dummy user were on the list, this doesn't make sense because the dummy user was not set up as an administrator and shouldn't have access to a list of other users. It doesn't matter whether I click OK or Cancel, the dialog goes away and the password for the dummy user (and no other) changes.

Is this a bug or have I set something up wrong? I am using DNN 4.5.1 on a local host. I don't remember if I had this problem with DNN 4.4.1 or 4.5.0 before updating yesterday.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

When you were logged in as an admin did you check the "Remember me" box on login?

No, but I am using Firefox which remembers the login. I use a login module on the right of my home page to login as administrator and Firefox has the data already filled in so all I have to do is click the login button. When I login as a user I click the Login link near the top of the page which takes me to a separate login page. There I type the user name and the password is automatically filled in by Firefox.

I just now tried using Internet Explorer (without checking the "Remember me") and I didn't have the problem. I also tried clearing the password list in Firefox and the problem went away, so it looks like a non-administrator on a live site would never run into this problem vene when using Firefox to remember the login..
