Hello!

I want to have all links to any help in any DNN menu/modul removed. I actuallay use a workaround by defining the help.jpg as a white 12x12 image so no one sees the blue button with the interrogation mark but the pic still is a link.

There is a point in the Host Settings where you can de/activate the Online Help,  but each module also has an individual link just called
"Help" showing a short abstract of the modul's purpose which I want not to be displayed.

The problem is that there are "admins" on my portals playing around with everything possible. If they can't read what exactly goes on, I think they (hopefully) will not touch the running system.

best regards
Thomas

log in as host and go to host->host settings. Expand out advanced->other settings, and then clear the contents of the Help Url field, and uncheck 'enable module help', this should do what you need.

Actually i did exactly the above bevor writing down my question in the forum, but still the problem remains. Everywhere  in the portal blue interrogation  marks are displayed and a short text is shown after following it's link. Second problem: after beeing in this help window a click on "cancel" provides no action.

The cancel issue is know and has been already corrected.

If you want to apply the patch read this: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=2225
