Does anybody know is there somewhere can find the document about the dotnetnuke performance tuning?

The first thing I want to know is about the menu object's object. I don't know the reason, but I just feel my menu's speed is really not good in all my website. I hope I can find something to improve their display speed.

I also see many setting about the performance in the host setting page. Does anybody test these setting before. I really hope somebody can give me some guildline to tuning the Dotnetnuke's performance. I can't feel what the difference when I change these setting. For example: In which situation I should set something...etc...
