I have seen lots of sites with DNN where in the main page (and other pages) the middle (content) pane has several "posts" representing news items You add a news item and it should appear listed there in the middle content pane and as you add others they will drop down.

I am new to DNN but do not see any such module available. I saw the RSS Feed but that does not seem to be the right thing to use as it is not a feed but just the news module (which ultimately can become a feed)

News Articles by Ventrian System does just that. I run my blog on the module with the latest blog posts on the home page.
