Media module says only the following file types are supported : jpg,jpeg,jpe,gif,bmp,png,swf,AVI,MPEG,MP3,ASF,ASX,WMA,WMV,WAV,MIDI,QT,MOV,RM,RAM,RPM. when i upload a mp3 file, i got a message read mp3 file Is A Restricted File Type. Valid File Types Include ( *. swf, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.jpe, *.gif, *.bmp, *.png, *.doc, *.xls, *.ppt, *.pdf, *.txt, *.xml, *.xsl, *.css, *.zip ). Please Contact Your Hosting Provider If You Need To Upload A File Type Which Is Not Supported. so what should i do if i want it to be able to play file types in mp3, rm, mpeg etc.?

if you can access your web.config directly, faking a modification (e.g. adding a blank in a comment) and saving the file shall have the same effect.

Afterwards make sure, that you did not enable both compression and whitespace filter in host settings.
