After upgrading from 4.3.5 to 4.5.3 you cannot login to the site as Host nor any user.  If you register a new user it can login.  Only recieved one error when updating to see the 4.04.00.log file.  The log files only says "Error: HelpURL". 

Thanks for any help.

Did you make a backup of the web.config file before upgrading? If you did you must copy the machinekey values from the backup web.config file to your new web.config file.(something like this: machineKey validationKey="20B52E862DA95D1A25E2A88EE311CDEC1EC11EA2" decryptionKey="601BFF9871B4902C6BCCFCF0F9146F1452CA8B4BF982DA61" decryption="3DES" validation="SHA1"/>
