Hello,

After a subsribed user logs into the portal I want to redirect them to a page named "Member Homepage" directly after logging in.  This is fine that all subscribed users (no matter their role) go to this "Member Homepage" upon logging in.  Currently whenever any user logs in they are taken to the portal homepage.  I went into Admin>User Accts>User Settings and changed the redirect for users logging in to the "Member Homempage", but it doesn't make a difference, they are still directed to the portal homepage.  In host settings I have the Homepage designated as "Home", which I dont know why it would make a difference for this login redriect but one of the posts had mentioned it, so I tried changing that, but it didn't make any difference so I put it back accordingly to "Home".

I have looked through all posts and they all seem to point to the Admin>User Accts>User Settings change, which I have done.  It doesn't seem to be working with version DNN 4.05.03, or I am doing something wrong.

Thanks
James

I can set the "redirect" feature and it keeps the setting for about a few days.... but then it reverts back to the default... Errgg... Anyone have any guesses?

Could someone please take a look at this problem? I'm using DNN 4.7 and if I change the Redirect after Login setting or Redirect after Logout and click Update, the settings are gone when I return to the User Account Settings screen.

Is there a web.config setting that disables these settings?

I may have stumbled onto a solution for my problem with User Account Settings not persisting.

I was setting Redirect after Login, Redirect after Logout and Redirect after Registration, but the settings would persist only for the current session. Once I set a Splash Screen and Home Page under Site Settings, the User Settings now remain as set.

I don't know if this will solve all the problems people are having with User Settings, but it seems to have fixed mine. Hopefully it will help others.

Ed
