Hi. Is there a way to eliminate the Security Information pop up that disaplays "The Page Contains Both Secure and Nonsecure Items - Do You Want To Display the NonSecure Items?" We have SSL Security enabled for the site as well as on all pages and have a certificate for the website. What content is displaying as nonsecure? TIA

This warning is known as a Mixed Content warning and you CAN'T block it.

You get that on DNN site, for example, when you go to Login page and the ad banner is getting it's source from an unsecured location, i.e. src="http://www.vendorsite.com/banners/mydnnbanner.swf"

For your particular case, make sure that all images, Flash files and any other things (like counter scripts that feed an image to your site), banners, etc. are all either referenced using RELATIVE path (i.e. "/Portals/_default/Skins/DNNBlue/..." instead of "http://www.../Portals...) if they are located on your site or are fed from a secured location.

With respect to the Mixed Content messages, SSLRedirect provides an output filtering feature which may help with the annoying Mixed Content messages.  Download the SSLRedirect Product Documentation below for additional information.

SSLRedirect is an excellent add-on for SSL securing DNN web pages.  SSLRedirect provides the flexibility of using Regular Expressions to define which web pages should be SSL secured.  SSLRedirect also provides an output filtering feature which assists in eliminating the mixed content message sometimes received when flowing from HTTP to HTTPS web pages.  SSLRedirect is the ONE SSL enabling component which works equally as well with native ASP.NET apps as with DNN apps.  SSLRedirect also works with single domain SSL Certificates or wildcard SSL Certificates.

I definitely recommend that you use either HttpWatch, IeWatch, Fiddler or even FireBug to look at all the requests that are made on a given page.  If any of them are not using the secure protocol, then fix the problem.  In most cases this occurs because some resource is not using a relative path, with ads being one of the biggest offender, but not necessarily the only offender.
