Hi,

Our domain is www.clearcanvas.ca and our DNN installation is located in a subdirectory called /dnn.  Currently, we have an index.htm in the root directory that redirects to www.clearcanvas.ca/dnn.  Page addresses always have the /dnn subdirectory  in them, such as www.clearcanvas.ca/dnn/AboutUs, which seems kind of ugly.  Is there a way to remove the /dnn component in the path, such that page addresses appear as www.clearcanvas.ca/AboutUs instead?  Our hosting provider (easycgi), for some reason, is unable to setup a virtual directory that simply points to /dnn (which I assume would solve the problem), and if possible we'd prefer not to have to reinstall DNN in the root directory.  Is there anyway to accomplish what we want, given those restrictions?  Thanks in advance.

Norman

The way to remove this is to install DNN in the root.  A virtual directory won't change this.  The web root has to be where DNN's root is to avoid the path.
