Hi,

Could someone offer me some insight on to this? I can't seem to clear the event viewer log. Here's the trace.

login as Superuser ("Host"), go to SQL item in Host menu and execute:

TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Eventlog

Alternatively can you accomplish this with a database management tools like 'SQL Server Management Studio' (I prefer this way; I've more control over the db).
In the SQL Server Management Studio open the database looking for the table 'EventLog' 'in the db. Open a new query and execute the following statement:  'TRUNCATE TABLE [databaseOwner].EventLog' (the same what leupold suggested)
