HI, I am very very new to dotnetnuke. I could really use some advice on what I am looking to do. Here's what I need.

I have 14 retail stores that would go to the site and place their orders for supplies to  our warehouse and have the order either saved (as a report) to be retrieved by the person filling the order later or directly emailed. I want to display the items in the warehouse (from an online database) and they enter the quantity needed to be saved for a report. I really don't need to show cost or any calculations. ONce the order has been retrieved the quanity wouldn't need to be saved.

Any ideas what modual might suit these needs? I would need to create a database table in dnn and everything I have is in excel so importing from excel would be great.

I would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Hi,

Try WWStore 02.00.08 available at www.dotnetnuke.fr. The future offical Store (02.01.00) module is based on this module. I will provide a script for migrate data from WWStore to Store when the module will be released.

Thank you for such a quick response. I had installed the version of store module found here. When I set it up it needed a payment option before it would send an order and I didn't see a way to remove that. Will the new one require the cost and payment options? Can the items be displayed without a graphic and in rows? Can the customer information at the time of order be edited also?

thanks

Hi,

Please continue this post inside the Store forum!

The current Store module is full of bugs, this is why I suggest to try WWStore 02.00.08. This version do not require paiement option and have an email provider. Yes, you can display an item whitout graphics with the dispostion you need. In fact, you have juste to edit a template file (in html with tokens). The customer information are edited while they checkout their order.
