Hello,

Bit of a newb question here. I have a flash video playing on the front page. When I enter the domain and the site comes up, I get the video controls. However, if I click on the home button, then I no longer get the controls.

The address for that link is something like home/tabid/36/default. I am asuming that since this file is not located in the root, the control skin will no longer show.

My question is, how do I make it so that the Home button goes to the root file rather than the truncated location above? Or, where can I place my skin file so that it shows up no matter what?

thanks.

I did some more searching in the forums, but could not find a solution. Could anyone help me on this issue? I would be very grateful. Thank you.

Ok, I tried some more things. I tried adding the full URL in the code that references the SWF file. I tried using the built in "insert flash" button on the module. However this program referenced a different folder, so the controls never showed up for that one. Maybe the weekend programmers might be able to help out on this one. I've run out of solutions and tests.

Resolved. I switched to OpenSource CMS and every thing seems to be working good. Maybe I'll give dotnetnuke another try for another project in the future. But for now I had to resolve the current issue.

Does anyone have an answer on this issue regarding the controls not showing up? We've tried various flash players and have the same issue.
