I have a site which is receiving lots of new registrations (I use "Verified" registration).  I want to designate two users as approvers of registrations.  However, I don't want to make them Admins. Is there a way to grant the members of a certain Role the ability to approve new users?

Thanks!
Danielle

no, currently not w/o 3rd party modules, but delegation of administrative tasks is planned for a future version.

Would it be possible to get a link to the area which discusses this? (the planned inclusion of delegating admin responsibilities)

My boss is interested for something we're working on.

Charles Nurse made the announcement here http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1697/Default.aspx

And I'm recommending WorkControl User Manager as the third party module to use for the purpose, mainly because of the extensive control over what exactly is editable.
