Is it possible to change folder permissions using the hosts file manager and let it change the sub folders with it (like windows propagate-from-parent option)?

If i change a folders permissions now the sub-folders are not affected.

No, but it's such an obvious function that I'd expect it to be on the roadmap for the file manager.

I suggest adding it as an enhancement in the public section at support.dotnetnuke.com

I wonder if it is possible to change these permissions quicker by simply editing the right SQL-table?

If so, where do I look?

Ok ... Another question;

Does anyone know if a commercial DNN-module exists which acts as a more advanced filemanager (and thus can change rights on directories incl. the subdirectories)?
