Hi folks,

I have an ASP.NET website which has developed in DOTNETNUKE framework. Now i want to configure or install this website on my local (system) web server.

What are steps needed to do this? your answers are highly appriciated. Thanks

Ill start this thread off

Download all the website files using an ftp program such as filezilla

Download and install Visual Web developer express or visual studio

Copy your database on your local sql server 2005 (express edition), modify your web.config for the database.

Then you have to change the HTTPalias, don't know how this can be done.

Thanks for your reply.

Your answer seems like how to configure (Install) the DotNetNuke software in local system. But my question was, i have an asp.net application which had developed under dotnetnuke framework by some third person.

Now i have that application and would like to configure this application with my local system (IIS). but i dont know how to install or configure this application with local system?

Could you give the solution in this perspective.
