I'm building a site that will have 3 templates. The home page will be different (1st template), and there are two inside sections, #1: Church; #2: School. I'm thinking that they should be seperate portals, as the two inside sections will have different navigation.

I'd like whatever.com/church to go to the default page for that section, and whatever.com/school to go to its default page.

Can anyone confirm this direction or make other recommendations?

TIA-Tony

This can easily be accomplished with 3 page skins and proper redirection unless you have other reasons to break this into DNN child portals.

As I make new pages, how do I make sure that the right page goes onto the right menu? These two different menus may have some of the same page names like:

About Us
    Contact Church

About Us
    Contact School

When adding a new page you can choose the required parent page, in effect setting it up as per your example. you may need to add the top level pages

School
> About Us
> Contact School

Church
> About Us
> Contact Church

Thank you. So, if I'm building a page for the School site, how do I designate which menu goes on that page?
