I am trying to migrate several non-DNN sites into a single DNN installation by creating a parent portal for each.  The sites are designed to support a regional presence, i.e. an office in Charlotte, NC and other in Atlanta, GA, etc.  The site structure of all the old sites are all very similar in that they all have a /services.html, /employ.html, /contact_us.html, etc.

I would like to redirect the old pages to the new DNN parent portal but I can't figure out how to do this.  The first site seems easy because I can import the old site into the root of the DNN installation and insert a 301 redirect script on each of the old pages.  But redirecting further sites to a parent portal are a challenge because I can't put another services.html page in the DNN root.

I am hosted at WH4L.

Thanks for your help.

If all the page names are the same on each instance can you just do a redirect to the root, without passing the domain of the site?

/default.aspx?tabid=49

instead of www.domainname.com/default.aspx?tabid=49

Would that work for you?

Thanks for your quick reply, Chris.

I should have been clearer.  Although the site structure is the same, the content on the page is not.  So, I have several /service.html pages with slightly different content.  So, I would like to redirect www.domainname1.com/services.html to www.domainname1.com/Services/tabid/54/Default.aspx and www.domainname2.com/services.html to www.domainname2.com/Services/tabid/78/Default.aspx where domainname1.com and domainname2.com are parent portals in a single DNN installation.

Thanks again.
