We are having problems with our hosted site and users sessions timing out sooner than they would like. As a work around while we resolve the issue can we place a number in the Page Refresh field (say 300s = 5 min) on Page Settings and get the page to refresh and thereby refresh the session and delaying an inactivity time out?

thanks!

After almost 2 months of using the DNN auto-refresh setting we have found this to be a bad solution.... besides having an unexpected page refresh it seriously effected our page stats. How do i tell the web server to give me more time?

In web.config
<forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="120" cookieless="UseCookies" />
<add key="PersistentCookieTimeout" value="10080" />

Values are in minutes.
The first line is the timeout for everyone including those who sign in - I use 2 hours.
The second line is for people who tick the box to stay signed in - I use 1 week.
