Hi,

I am a dnn user. Can any body tell me the  exact steps describly for  mail setup in my site. my EventNotification mail not  going to mailid. But in EventNotification table it shows Eventsent true. It means notification going,but not comming to mail id. I think there is problem in my mail setup. But i don't know  exact steps  to make mail setup. If possiable,can any body tell me the exact setup process.

Sorry for distrubbing.

When logged in a the host user navigate to "Host Settings" under the Host menu.

Expand the settings and look for SMTP Settings.  Ensure that your proper information is in this section, then click update.

Hi,

 Thanks for ur replay.

I make this setting :--

Host --> Host Setting --> SMTP Server setting -->SMTP Server and port: --> Host Server Name and Port Name

Host --> Host Setting -->  SMTP Server setting -->SMTP Authentication: --> Anonymous

But i m not getting Email notification .

Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Make sure, that host and admin user have valid email addresses in their user profile.

If mails not sent, check out the mail server logs.

Hi,

Thanks for ur help. ya my Host email-id is not valid. Is there any setting to change the Email-id? i know it can be change in data base. but its not suitable to change database every time when I want to  change email-id.

I have change the host emailid and Admin emailid in database. Ii have clicked on the "Notify me " link in Event detail page. But still the notification mail is not comming. 

When Event approved that time a update mail comming, but notification not comming.

Don't know what missing.

Any suggestion will be appriciated.
