Hello,

I am trying DotNetNuke out to see if it can accomodate my needs. I have a standard asp website. I want some of the content in the pages to be managed by a cms. After installing DotNetNuke, i cannot figure out how i can use DNN to mange content on my standard asp website.

I have seen posts talking about converting my aspx page to asp control, but i'm only using standard asp.

Example on my homepage i have a section called upcoming events, i wanted to be able to manage the content there withough editing default.asp. Isn't that what a CMS is used for? So can DNN do this or is DNN the right tool for the job?

Much obliged.

I would consider doing it the other way around... Move everything to DotNetNuke and consider abandoning your old asp code.

There is a dotnetnuke events module that might suit your purposes (suggest you wait till the next events release though as this is a much better version).

Also you can port most of your "static" text to text/html modules, which you could later update on the fly.
