I have regularly had problems using File Manager to upload files to my DNN 4.0.1 portal and some files refuse to upload after multiple attempts. I can't see any pattern to this problem apart from the fact that when uploading multiple files it often ignores the first file in the list. For example, this morning I attempted to upload 8 files ranging from 3K to 147K. The first file in the list did not upload (no error message) but files 2 thru 8 uploaded OK. Attempting to upload File 1 again on its own failed and continued to fail whether I was logged in as Admin or Host.

I eventually got around it by putting a file I didn't want uploading at position no. 1 in the upload list and my File 1 at position 2. Yes, File 1 (position no.2) uploaded OK this time and the unwanted file at position 1 didn't.

Is this a known problem?

I upgraded to 4.0.2 thinking that it might get rid of the problem. Was I wrong!! I attempted to upload 8 files again this morning using File Manager. It took me 5 attempts to get them all uploaded. See table below for details of what happened: -

Can someone tell me what's happening here please? Am I the only one experiencing this problem? It would help if someone who is using DNN4 File Manager comments on their experiences even if its been problem-free.

I am unable to upload files using two seperate DNN 4.02 installations in a hosted environment.  In one case I was able to upload a file several days ago but have not been able to do so since.  Will let you know if I figure anything out.
