I have a 3rd-party module on our DNN site that I don't want other people to add to a page.

I know the QED way to do this is to make it a Premium module in the Module Definitions section.

However, when I check off Premium, then click 'Update,' the module does not 'disappear' from the available modules list on the Control Panel module dropdown, and the status of Premium remains un-checked for the module.

It's Ventrian's News Articles btw.

Thank you, Tom

Never mind...I got it to work.

I tried again and then saw a red error message stating that the module's version numbering had to be in a specific format.

I added a trailing zero to the module version number.

After I did this, the change to Premium worked.

Moral of the story: Check your module version numbering format.

Thank you, Tom
