DNN seems like the perfect solution for my project, but I've hit a road bump at every turn during my install. After 4 days of trying to install DNN, I finally got it to work. Now that I have DNN installed, I found a problem with my first configuration. I'm attempting to update my security roles, but I cannot load the security roles page. I've tried accessing the security roles  from the pencil icon and the add new role button. Every time I click these buttons, the page does nothing and seems to just reload. Has anyone had this problem before?

I had the same problem.  Which installation package did you use?  Are you using SQL Server or Express?  I reinstalled the Startkit package using SQL Server 2005 on Vista.  Also using VS2008.  Make sure you give directory right permissions and your database correct permissions before installing.  The last thing I did was modify the webconfig file using the needed connection string.  I also selected the Auto radio button when the setup asked for a selection.  You may need to delete database and reinstall.
