Hi everybody!

My Dnn 4.8.4 Website get this tree wiew Problem under admin > File Manager since long time ago (from Dnn 4.XX Upgrade to 4.8.4), The Problem is as below:

1: Can't show Tree viwe of subfolders and files Except Root is there!, I did recursive sync many times, it's still not work!

2: When add a new folder through File Manger, it disappear after couple second,I check the folders on my server, it's there Physically!

3: Because this problem ,anytime when Using module that related to the File uploade option,I get problem due to I can't see any folder in my website.

4:check the database table , Can find some dupilicated folders record in dbo.Folders&dbo.FolderPermission tables.

After Check this community,I can't see any offically effective solution for this problem, even though losts of people get the same problem. I really thank for the guys can give a solution for this . Please post your ways to solve this problem in this thread. Also i hope People can get a offical solution in this thread.

Please help! !!!!!

On the file manager, just above the tree next to the column heading on the left, there is a button for Synchronize Folders.  Have you tried that one?  After running that, all folders for the portal should display.

I assume that there file system permissions missing for DNN virtual user "Network Service". Make sure it has full permissions for /portals subfolder of your installation. After adjusting permissions, make sure to perform a recursive sync for each portal in Admin :: FileManager.

I have this problem and my network hosts have checked permissions and say it's as I requested but I still have the problem. I have synced over and again.

any ideas?
