After upgrading the motherboard on a working DNN installation I could not get the site to connect to the database.  Also the Express management tool does not want to connect to the server due to incorrect login.  Is this a change I need to make somewhere?

Martin,

After upgrading the motherboard I would suggest re-installing the Operating system and all of the software that resides on it.

Before doing this get all of the data of your disks that is important in DotNetNukes case the dotnetnuke sql datafiles (mdf, ldf files) and the DotNetNuke website directory.

It could be all sorts of issues but normally windas does not like an change to the motherboard without re-installing all the drivers for it and in my experience even if you overwrite the old drivers the system will never work properly.

Hope this helps buddy :)
