Hi - I wonder if anyone can help me with this.  I set up a site with a shopping cart requiring SSL.  No problem there - the problems started when Google indexed the site as .domain.com and not www.domain.com Now if people arrive by googling the site they arrive on .domain.com but the SSL is on www.domain.com and throws a page load error in Firefox & Security alert in IE - not too good for business!  I went into Google webmaster tools and set the preferrence to www.domain.com

I went through the site turning all the hyperlinks I could from linkclick.aspx links into http://www. links.  This is okay for pages where someone follows a link to a selection of goods but any pages where they stay on the .domain.com and don't click a hyperlink the problem remains.  I have css sidemenu installed which may complicate things a little.

Can anyone help?  Is there a way to re-direct .domain.com to www.domain.com until Google re-indexes the site?

What version of DNN are you using.  Depending on the version you are using there is a way to control how SSL works on your site.  The main settings are set at the host level, and you can fine tune the setting at the page level.  Once I determine what version you using I can describe how the settings work.
