Hi.

I'm having trouble with installation of modules, since installing DNN 5.0.

For example, I'm tring to install Data Springs' Dynamic Registration, and although I tell the installer to disregard invalid file extensions, I cannot proceed.

I'm getting this message:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've just installed another datasprings module on DNN 5 without problems.

What are the exact steps to reproduce?

Are you talking about file extensions within the package, or the package name itself?
I'm not sure myself how to tell the installer to disregard invalid file extensions? Please enlighten me.

If this issue is specific to the datasprings module please contact datasprings.

Hello,

could it be that "Allow invalid extensions" checkbox? You have to wait for a full page postback in order to get the DNN module installer to work properly.

Personally I heard too many END-users telling that this new warning is quite complex to de-activate... Many of them will end up thinking that the module they want to install is not working under DNN 5.0, while it actually would run without problems.

I must be missing something, I can't see where ""Allow invalid extensions" checkbox?" is, can someone give me exact steps to navigate... Thanks.

The message comes up as soon as a package is selected, if the installer is unhappy.

If I check the box, the nullexception error is shown.
