Does DNN ignore caching for logged in users?  E.g. - If I've set "performance settings" to "Heavy Caching", is that only for anonymous visitors to my site or will/should that also affect logged in users?

dmeiser,

It should ignore caching for those who are an admin/host or those who have edit privileges on the module.

Take care,

Caching seems to be the same for logged in users - I think it is turned off for Admins but I could be wrong...

Thanks, I've been having issues with my install.  It appears that my AD authenticated users are being cached, which is a problem.  Especially for my AD user, which I've set up as a host user and use as the host user.

When I login as "host" I don't seem to have any problems.  But, when I login as myself, changes I make don't seem to take any effect until I restart IIS.  This seems crazy.

I guess that I'll be monitoring the situation today to see what happens.  Hopefully I don't spend half my day troubleshooting this (again).

Thanks for all your help!

I've been playing around with it for about 10 minutes with Caching turned completely off.  Performance Settings are set to "No Caching."  I have no problems.

Is it possible that somehow DNN is ignoring the fact that I'm authenticated and giving me the cached page?
