I'm trying to modify look and feel of the footer links (Privacy Statement, Terms of Use) on DNN 4.9.1 site without adding an additional module on the page.

1) Is there a way to change the name of "Privacy Statement" to "Privacy Policy"?

2) Is there a way to underline and add more links in the footer? For example: Privacy Policy | Security | Terms of Use | Site Map

3) Is there a way to link "Privacy Policy" to its own page instead of running java script? For example, point the link to www.mydomain.com/privacy-policy.aspx

All the help on this is appreciated!

Jake

1) use Language Editor in Admin menu. Select file Local > Admin > Skins > App_localResources > Terms.ascx and Privacy.ascx, edit text and save. Changes will be preserved on upgrades.

2) this requires modification of the skin. Create a custom copy of the folder (inside /portals/_default/skins and adopt .ascx files as you like or adopy .html files and reparse the files in Host :: Skins.

3) create a page (not necessarily listed in menu) and copy relative path. Use it for a link in your skin footer
