Can someone please tell me if it's possible to set up DNN 5.0 (running on a production server) so that the users will be automatically authenticated through their windows login credentials (I'm using the DNN ActiveDirectory module version 5.0.1) when they type the URL of the intranet in the adressbar of their browser? If yes, how can I do this?

- I have the web.config authentication mode set to forms, I've treid setting this to Windows, but that didn't work.
- In IE version 7 I have set the url of the intranet as a trusted site.
- Maybe there is another setting in IE or DNN I don't yet know of?

I also have a test version (copy) of the intranet running localy on my PC. When I run this in VS2008, I am logged in automatically with the same account as I'm logged in on Windows. I would like to achieve the same functionality on my production server. Is this possible and how can I do this?

Have you looked through the 01.00.04 documentation? The screen shots are setup for DNN 4 but the process is the same for DNN 5. The only difference is that the settings are applied under Admin->Extensions-><Edit Pencil>Active Directory Provider in DNN 5 instead of under Admin->Authentication like it was in DNN 4.
