I have my own server and am hosting a video site arodrive.com and for the past 2 dayz my site has started running super slow, the processor on my server runs at 100% when my site is running and when I stop the site the processor runs normal.

Can some one tell me what I need to do to make my site running normal.

And please remember guys am still very new to DNN.

Thanks

Tuviere

Thanks lots for your help, I tried it but I guess I was not very clear on my previous post.

My site has been running pretty fast for the past 2 years, never hard an issue with the way my site loads, I run the site off my own managed server so the speed is pretty good. Now for thepast 2 to 3 dayz the site has gone from loading each page from 2 to 5 secs to now 3 to 10 mins (and am not exagerating each actually loaded one page yesterday 9mins 37secs)

I have changed nothing on my server or site, this just started suddenly and now am loosing my users by the second.

Please help.

hmm.... would be helpful if you make a list of things you might think affecting the performance

  • Did you upgrade the DNN?
  • Did you make a backup and restored on your local machine, did it still run like a turtle?
  • Did you install any modules?
  • If you are hosting somewhere else, did any other users on the same server complains same thing?
  • and... any other changes you made before the site get slower?

10min loading is insane. I actually have a same issue (not 10min delay but 15secs. still not acceptable) on one of my sites.
