When I load DNN from Go Daddy, I can login, but then there is only 'home' and 'search' on the top tool bar, there is no way to access the admin tools.

thoughts?

I am having the same problem. And came to the conclusion you can not install through godaddy's 'value application' for DNN to work properly, and godaddy does not support DNN yet they offer it as a service, go figure. So I tried to manually install per instructions from another thread, and got lost. I have the folders and permissions set, but not sure where to go from there. And it says to create a SQL database NOT a mySQL database, but go daddy only has mySQL listed. The installation video on DNN's site is only for local sever's. And the instructions are only for local servers. How do you install this on a remote server?

Did you two ever find a working solution for your problem? I have the same exact problem and found a solution offerred by John Michell here: http://blogs.snapsis.com/PermaLink,guid,05e0a045-4944-4f85-aa12-ac9cb774e2fb.aspx
I called GoDaddy tech support and ask them to copy the login.aspx file to my web site root directory and below is there answer. So watch out when paying GoDaddy to host your website. They get your money to host your website but 1) do not provide a way for you to directly access your site and 2) refuse to help with a simple request as to copy a file to your own website. It took 3 developers a month to build our website and manage to have a lot of register users. It forces us to wipe out and rebuild our site from scratch if we cannot find working solution for this problem.

Peter,

Greetings, this is Jeff at GoDaddy.com.  After consulting with our Advanced Hosting Support I was informed that submitting an escalation for the issue you've encountered would not be possible, as AHS would not be able to upload a file to the location your Dotnetnuke files are being stored.  This is simply not a process that is supported.  In order to have file upload access, as mentioned in our phone conversation, you would need to set up your own version of Dotnetnuke.  I'm sorry I could not provide further assistance with this issue.
Sincerely,
Jeff H.
