hey,

Is it possible that when we click on a LINK it checks whether the user has Log IN or not, if user was not Log IN it moves to the member login area and if the user was Log IN then allow him to access that link or allow him to download a file.

and one more problem is that i need to put permission on viewing a module, For e.g I want a module which can only be viewed by registered users only. There are the permissions on View Module but they are disabled. Is it possible to enable those permissions ??

Accepted Answer

if you use the [LOGIN] Skinobject in the skin of your site or the login module, it behaves as you described, you can specify the page after login in Admin :: Users when choosing "user settings" command.

to specify view permissions for a module, uncheck "inherit page view permissions" below.

Thanks Sebastian Leupold ! I have enabled the View Module permission

but i still having the problem with that user login part, if a visitor clicks on a link it verifies whether the user has Logged In or not if the user has Logged In the user is enable to view or download that file if he is not Logged In then move the user to Member Login page !!
Kindly solve my problem and answer my briefly !!
