I have recently installed DNN 5.1.0 (773) and have coma across a problem with the portal alias feature.  I have to add a port number to the URL of my development server as the ISP blocks port 80.

When I add a Portal alias to Site Settings, e.g. "subdomain.domain.net.au" I am told it is not a valid URL.

I turn off "Friendly URLS" and I can now enter the domain as listed above.  However, I  then get the same error when I try to apply the port number, ie "subdomain.domain.net.au:8080".

What do I have to do to get this to work?

I am getting this problem as well. I can't seem to add a portal alias with a port number since upgrading to DNN 5.1.

Has anyone got an answer to this? Does DNN 5.1 not support port numbers other than 80?
