Remove the tokens from the skin files and then reparse the skin (if it's html based, otherwise editing the ascx directly will work) or you can find the appropriate classed in the skin.css file and set them to "display: none". Making a backup and editing the skin files would be the best way to avoid issues and excess code being accessed. Editing the skin.css is the quick and dirty method that doesn't necessarily remove the items functions, it just wouldn't display the output.

If you do not required these then remove these token from skin ascx file

If you are using defalut skin remove following line form skin

    1) <%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="SEARCH" Src="~/Admin/Skins/Search.ascx" %>

    2)  <%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="BREADCRUMB" Src="~/Admin/Skins/BreadCrumb.ascx" %>

    3) <dnn:SEARCH runat="server" ID="dnnSEARCH" CssClass="ServerSkinWidget" UseDropDownList="true" Submit="<img src=" images/search.gif" border="0" alt="Search">" />

    4) dnn:BREADCRUMB runat="server" ID="dnnBREADCRUMB" CssClass="Breadcrumb" RootLevel="0" Separator=" > " />

<dnn:TEXT runat="server" ID="dnnTEXT" CssClass="breadcrumb_text" Text="You are here" ResourceKey="Breadcrumb.Text"/>

If you edit .ascx files like described before, make sure NEVER to hit "parse skin" in Admin Skins module, because it will revert your changes. Besides, if you are editing default skin in place, your changes will be overwritten on upgrades. you should create a new folder inside skins with a copy before starting modifications.

apply the changed skin to a single page only, which should be different from home page, otherwise you may end in an inaccessible site.
