Hi,

I'm using an XSLT sheet as a visualiser for the output of a report module.  In the XSLT I use the XSL 2.0 construct for-each-group  :

<xsl:for-each-group select="QueryResults"  group-by="WORK">
When I display the module however I get the error message :

A critical error has occurred.
'group-by' is not a recognized extension element. An error occurred at E:\web\xxxx\htdocs\Portals\0\MyXSLT.xsl(31,1).

Can anybody please explain what the problem is here?

Many thanks

I have moved this thread to the Reports Module forum.

It would seem that neither reports nor XML modules support XSLT version 2.0.  Version 1.0 is supported.

Currently both of those modules use the core .Net XSLT APIs.  The core .Net library has never supported XSLT 2.0 so you are forced to use the 1.0 spec.  It might be worth asking the project leads to consider adding Saxon.Net as the standard XSLT processor so that the XSLT 2.0 could be used.
