Hi,

I am designing a site that provides many content pages accessible through menus. All of these content have non-human friendly URLs and thats fine. But I want to replace some of them with better URLs so I can put up ads for those pages.

For example I want http://www.example.com/TestPortal/GoodArticles/Good1.aspx to be http://www.example.com/good1 (with no .aspx)

And also I don't want the old version to exist, because I've heard that google penalties duplicate pages (SEO topics)

How is it done ?

UrlMaster from www.ifinity.com.au should fit to your needs.

Do you have any free suggestions ?

I could do it with introducing a new RegEx match in Friendly URLs but its just a redirect. I want to rename the URL completely to that custom one.

Thanks

shortcut is another module that will deliver the url you want www.example.com/good1 and is great to use the shortcut can be redirected to any internal page or external site at any time. From memory a small fee but worth it.
