Hi there I was wondering if someone has any idea how I'd do the following... I want to hide or disable some of the page setting when creating a new page and I want to do this depending on User Role. Now if the pages were simply ASPX/ASCX files I could write VB comments around the form items. I know this is a CORE change but I have to do it as my boss has said so!

I know if I want to do this for Modules I can edit the website/admin/modules/modulesettings.ascx.vb but what is the file for the add new page interface?

Any ideas anyone?

The files you are looking for are in DesktopModules\Admin\Tabs  (ManageTabs.ascx, tabs.ascx)

My advice would be to create a new module based on these and make your modifications there.  then just create a new page under the admin section with your module on it.  (Hide or remove the default page for aministration of pages.)

Hi gues, when I write a simple test link to website/admin/modules/modulesettings.ascx like Hello World at the top or bottom of the file it doesn't show up on the interface or source code? Any ideas why this is?
