Hello,

I'm looking for a way to send DNN users after login to different pages. For example:

Role= management, after login go to management news

Role= salesmen, after login go to sales page

etc.

Anyone know how to do this? I'm using DNN 04.07.00

I would inherit the partial class 'Signin' in  Namespace

DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Security, and after successful login, in the code behind, in a switch block check the user's role and redirect accordingly

You can do it without inheritance but then if you upgrade you need to be sure to maintain this edit in the new version.

Good luck

There are a number of third-party (paid) modules that can do this (this one in particular is very nice), but you can achieve the basic functionality yourself using free SQL modules such as Advanced Datagrid, SQLView or DNN's own REPORTS module:

Create a "Login Redirection Based on User Role" module using ADG
