Hi,

 I recently installed DNN 4.9.0 and for some reason I can get the local host page http://local/dnn to server but if I try to access the site remotely from another box with IE per http://<servername/>dnn the page doesn't serve (all other .aspx pages are serving remotely).  Instead the following error is displayed,  

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!  Is there a users guide that calls out speciifics like this for setting up a baseline portal and pages, etc?

 Also check your firewall settings.  Later windows versions disable output http 80 connections by default.  When you setup iis on your windows box, you'll probably have to create a firewall exception to let the web-server traffic out to other computers on your network.
