Nothing about a blocked zip anywhere.  Do you know where in the code it is set to display the icons?  Perhaps the proper file didn't get copied over?

Is there some other forum I can go to for help on this issue?  We seem to be grasping at straws here and this is quickly turning into a big problem for our site.

I don't know which files are necessary, but you might simply try extracting all of the contents of the UPGRADE package again. It should hurt your site to put all those files back in place. (as always backup first just in case)

I popped all of the files back in place and same results.  What's the next step?

Can you post general info about your setup? 

O/S, SQL version IIS version.. from which DNN version did you upgrade?
