Hello -

We are soon deploying DNN as a replacement for a number of websites.

Many of these websites will have the same modules, page names, and permission settings.

Is it possible to create a base website that has the default set of modules and carry them over to newly created portals? i see when creating a portal that it is possible to define website "templates", so I think this is an option but I cannot find it anywhere in the Host menu.

For example, if I have 3 new portals to create, and each has Forums, special settings for the Registration page, and permissions to view certain items under Admin, can I define all that in one place and use the website templates dropdown when creating the portal?

You can setup a portal to create a template from, on the HOST/PORTALS page choose the option from the actions menu to "export portal template"

Not all modules will support exporting, but some of them will.
