I was wondering how to default the country for account login to australia in DNN 5?

in Admin :: User Accounts, using "Manage Profile Properties" you should be able to provide a default value.

This didnt work. I put in the word Australia. ALso tried AU but that didnt work either. Does it need to be something different like a number of something that is linked to Australia?

I'll have to test it, there might be support missing for default value in Country property control.

It should support the default, which needs to be the English name of the country, as listed for caption in Host :: List country list. Storing caption is for sure not the preferred solution regarding localizabiility and IMHO needs to be revised for one of the next versions.
