I have been watching the videos on DNNCreative .com and they show a section of DNN that is no longer in DNN 5.1.4 or is it?

If it is there then how do I install a free module that i find on the web - in other words is there a folder i copy it to when i download or is there a user interface page that i can install it on?

How do I install the form and list core module that comes with DNN?

to install bundled modules, log in as superuser ("host") and go to Extensions item in Host menu.

select "install available extensions" from action menu / far bottom of the page.

Thanks Sebastion it is now installed but looks pretty daunting to setup - Can you point me in the direction of a video tutorial or something on forms?

  • place the list on a page
  • enter form and list configuration, specify the columns (data fields) you like
  • specify type (form or list) and other details
  • save your settings
  • enter your first record

there is a manual for UDT 3, which is still valid in most of the points. you may download it from here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Development/Forge/ModuleformandList/Downloads/tabid/878/Default.aspx
