Hello,

I have run across an odd situation.
I am trying to simply point the “File Location” under the Page Settings/Basic Settings of a TEXT/HTML Module to a newly created directory with an image.
However the problem is that the directory is NOT available in the drop down list (under file location).
I am trying to move the image blahblah.jpg from its current location in /images/ to a new location in /images/company/management/
But the new location /images/company/management/ is not accessible via the drop down ‘file location’ in the modules settings/page settings/basic settings area next to icon. In fact out of the dozens of folders that reside under /images/ only 5 show up for drop down choices.

I tired to synchronize after checking the recursive box but received the following error:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

If I try to synchronize without checking the recursive box, the screen refreshes back to the root and no extra folders are available again.

Permissions were checked.

I also tried to create a folder using the file manager but received this error:

Cannot insert the value NULL into column \'msrepl_tran_version\', table \'ncomputing.dbo.Folders\'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.\nThe statement has been terminated.

Any help would be appreciated.

please check all files and folder names in windows file manager, make sure, none does contain an apostrophe ( ' ) and full permissions have been granted to the asp.net account.
