Just performed an upgrade to a site running 5.1.2 to bring it up to 5.2.2.  However, whenever I try to load the Host Settings page I get the following error:

Error: Host Settings is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: E:\websites\04.dev.netmds.com\wwwroot\DesktopModules\Admin\HostSettings\HostSettings.ascx.vb(309): error BC30198: ')' expected. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: E:\websites\04.dev.netmds.com\wwwroot\DesktopModules\Admin\HostSettings\HostSettings.ascx.vb(309): error BC30198: ')' expected. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilities.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Now, that sounded / looked similar to an earlier post which the user wasn't able to access his/her Skins page. I went ahead and tried to re-copy in the ugrade files, and restarted the AppPool (Running ASP.net 3.5) but still no luck. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Accoding to the error message it sounds to me, that there is an error copying your files onto the server. I suggest to copy over all files from upgrade package again!

That's what I thought too, and have re-copied the files in twice now with the same results. I'll download the files from Codeplex and see if that helps.

It appears that modifications to web.config for Linq and for adding the new module caching providers did not run properly during the upgrade. Please see Roger Selwyn's post in this thread for a possible fix:
