I did a search for "registration email" and only got a couple of results. I upgraded to DNN 5.2.2 and created a new account. The Admin got the account creation email, but I did not get the test registration account email. I have checked SMTP and it is working fine.

Is anyone else having issues sending emails? I have Verified Registration turned on so it is imperative that the emails go out with the verification code.

Thanks for any ideas.

there might be an issue with mail server configuration. If the sender's email address does not belong to the domain of the SMTP server, the SMTP server needs to be configured for "relaying".

Am I correct in that the Sender's email should be the Admin account? If so, the Host SMTP settings are using the same account with basic authentication and the SMTP Test works. I am running a dedicated server with DotNetPanel as the control panel. I have a few dozen DNN installs setup this way that seem to work fine. Is there something else I can check? I will do some more investigating my other installs as well.

did you check the admin email address in user accounts?
