Hi all,

In the DNN installation root, I've created a folder says \Test\  and a feed.xml inside it.

How do I filter the http request and only allow one IP address (192.168.1.100 for example) to access the feed.xml inside the folder?

I've tried adding a web.config directly in the folder which looks like below (not sure it is the correct way bnot working anyway..)

<configuration>
    <system.web>
            <authorization>
            <allow users="192.168.1.100"/>
            <deny users="?"/>
        </authorization>
    </system.web>
    <system.webServer>
    </system.webServer>
</configuration>

Thanks,
George

A .xml file is not protected by the ASP.NET runtime, as IIS handles that file itself.

You would need to handle this at an IIS level.
