Hi,

I got a little problem with the scheduler of DNN. I'd change the host parameter called "Scheduler mode" to "Timer Method" because we found that if nobody goes on the website in a day, with the "Request Method", the scheduler never starts this day. After changing to "Timer Method", no problem for this. The problem is that the last weekend, the scheduler never started. I check the log and nobody has logon on the website these days. I don't know if it tell something but we need the schedule to run every day. Does it have a way to make sure that the schedule work every day with no exception also if nobody has gone on the website. Thank you very much and have a nice day!

You are likely running into a similar issue that you saw before you changed to the Timer mode. You should look into a keep alive service or health monitoring service that will "ping" your site on a set schedule (I recommend 15 minutes or so) that will help to keep your website running in IIS even when there is no traffic. IIS by default will unload an application after 20 minutes of inactivity.
