My website at www.lifepointsolutions.org works fine for all browsers except Chrome which receives an HTTP 401 after the GET for each page on the site.

What is wrong?

When I browse www.dotnetnuke.com with Chrome the same problem does not occur.

- which DNN version are you using (see at the top of Host :: Host Settings inside DNN) - did you try to apply default skin instead of your custom skin?

Cheers from Germany,

This site is using DNN Version 05.02.03 (74). On the host and admin pages the default skin is being used instead of the lifepointsolutions skin. Even on pages with the default skin, the 401 response is sent from the server after the pages is loaded.

Strange. After looking at the logs we found favicon.ico to be the 401 culprit. If we rename the favicon.ico to _favicon.ico then the 401 for Chrome doesn't occur anymore. But now there is no favicon for the other browsers.
